Laurie Taylor and her mother Joanne Murdock have just returned from the mule-drawn wagon ride, another top activity
(Joanne made the clothing for both of them and this year will be selling old -timey bonnets!) We will again have the quilting demo which in 2010 was set
up by Denise Benefield and her mom. It was a big hit, with some of the smaller children crawling underneath the quilt
to see their entire stitching.

Militia re-enactors, lft to rt, Greg Wilson and Ralph Banks, anticipate having more re-enactors
helping them set up this year's military encampment. We greatly regret not being able to have Pete Dunaway's Native American
site this year and certainly hope he will be able to rejoin us in 2012.
National award-winning youth ventriloquist, Avery Jones, will return to the Kids' Fun Tent
as well as to the stage where his 2010 performance was a top hit for all ages.
